Colletion of used hardware
According to the European Law, companies are required to dispose used electronic equipment through donating the items to appropriate recycling firm. Many of these do refurbishment, and this can be a good option if a company wants to start an employee buyback program or to donate the equipment to a nonprofit organization, such as a school or local organization. No company can throw out computer equipment. The liquidation or reselling process must be confirmed by issuing an invoice or electronic waste return protocol. The Netland Computers offers buying back the hardware and its liquidation. As a part of our company’s business activity we offer our customers three options:
Valuation and collection
Our knowledge of the second user computer market can be best exploited by entering into a remarketing agreement. We will test and refurbish equipment in our workshop, sharing revenue with our business partners after obtaining the best possible resale value.
The valuation is draw up on the basis of informations received from customer. Our company conducts an evaluation basing on market value, which is simultaneously our company declaration that we are able to buy above mentioned equipment for fixed amount.
Audit equipment
It happens very often that our customers have no time, or nor competent staff to make inventories of replacing equipment. At that time our skilled workers engage in this. Depending on the customers needs, we may conduct an audit at Netland Computers premises or at customer’s place. Our employees carry out stock taking, check technical condition of equipment and prepare an appropriate report for customers. Carrying out an audit does not obligate the client to take further steps concerning the decommissioning of equipment by Netland. Every customer has a right to conduct an evaluation and sell the equipment through another company.
Protection of personal data
The average company does not have enough operational tools to permanently remove all data. Usually formatting disk afterwards allows to restore some information from the disk. Our company provides a guarantee to all the data from the computers to be effectively and permanently erased. We remove all CDs and floppy disks, which workers often inadvertently leave in the drives.
